Ian started taking poker more seriously in 2018 after having some success in local tournaments, he would then go on to drop out of college during his junior year in 2019 to play full time. In that same year he went on to have his best score to date for just over $100k in a $600 2,000 runner field at the Venetian and never looked back. More recently, Ian won the 2023 World Series of Poker player of the year with 1 bracelet and 22 cashes including SIX top-nine finishes.
